Founded by one such mama, Omilion is a brand that provides one-of-a-kind, natural products so your baby can shower, sleep and snuggle safely.

As a single mom, I understand the struggles of new moms. Behind Omilion is the idea that every baby deserves the best, and that the best doesn’t have to come with a hefty price tag.

It started a long time ago.

OUR JOURNEY

I come from a family where natural was always preferred over artificial, where handmade was always cherished over store-bought, and where crafted was always valued over retail. In 1992, we started purchasing sewing supplies to hand-make essentials for our babies.

As a new mom, there were many times when I was stitching while cradling my baby. There were times when I had to test fabric after fabric, and create design after design, only to fail and start again. I wanted to find something that I thought was perfect for my baby, so I could recommend it for other babies. After many trials and errors, I found the perfect fabric.

To our surprise, we received an overwhelming response from moms and dads around us. Soon, my swaddle blankets, towels, and washcloths were the most popular gifts among friends and families.

After talking to a lot of parents, I realized.

THE PROBLEM

Walking down the aisles in stores and scrolling through hundreds of products online, you may wonder if these products are safe for your baby. I did too.

Being a new parent, your hands are always full. There is always another load of laundry to do, another meal to cook and another diaper to change. Most parents don’t find the time to research before buying a product.

Even if they do, the internet is full of confusing and contradictory information. You have to dig deep to learn more.

There are lots of brands that offer ‘organic, 100% cotton, bamboo’ baby products. But they are priced very high, and most parents find it hard to afford them.

This is when we set out and designed….

OUR SOLUTION

We put a lot of research, hard work, experimentation, and love into curating our product line. From choosing a natural fabric that offered a soft and comfy feel to manufacturing products that can last longer, it took us many years to finally decide everything and launch Omilion.

To offer you the best price, we set out on another journey to find manufacturers that didn’t compromise on quality. We are proud to share that our products are designed in the USA, and manufactured by our reliable partners in China. What started as a single-mom company is now a fully-grown team of professionals.

We make sure our partners and team members understand and support our values and vision.

We design our own patterns and choose our own natural fabrics. We keep playing with our ideas and polishing our products until we believe they are perfect for our babies and yours. Being a close-knit team, it is easy to ensure quality control at every step.

Looking back, it wasn’t an easy journey.

THE CHALLENGES

As a team, our first challenge was to find the perfect hypoallergenic fabric that was suitable for my baby who had a sensitive skin. We finally made materials that have been improved to achieve a soft and comfortable experience.

Moreover, when designing the pattern, there was a limit to the number of plates that could be ordered. However, that didn’t stop us. In order to give our customers a great experience, we did everything we could to get the pattern printed for consumers to choose from.

Looking forward, we have high aspirations for our brand.

From obscurity to becoming a brand that parents prefer, Omilion is on its way to becoming a leading brand.
